How booklet printing works
Why aren't the pages in normal order in the PDF?
A booklet is one stack of folded sheets. If you fold several sheets of paper in half and staple the spine, the physical first and last pages end up on the same sheet, the second and second-to-last on the next sheet, and so on. This tool works out that order for you automatically — you never have to think about it.
What if my PDF's page count isn't a multiple of 4?
We add blank pages at the end so the booklet folds evenly. Those blank pages will just be empty in the final printed booklet.
My printed pages didn't line up correctly — what happened?
Printer duplex ("flip") settings vary by manufacturer. If the back side doesn't align, try switching your printer's duplex option between "flip on short edge" and "flip on long edge" and reprint just the first sheet to test before printing the whole booklet.
