PDF to PDF/A (Archival)
Create a flattened, self-contained, archive-friendly version of your PDF — free.
⚠️ Simplified PDF/A-style export, not ISO 19005 certified. This flattens every page into an embedded image with no external font or content dependencies — great for long-term storage where you just need the pages to always look right. It is not a certified PDF/A file for legal/compliance archiving; use professional archiving software for that.
How it works
Each page is rendered as a flattened image (via pdf.js) and rebuilt into a new PDF (via jsPDF) with basic archival metadata set — no fonts, scripts, or external references to break in the future.
Why would I want this?
Flattened, image-based PDFs are less likely to look different when opened years from now on different software, since there's nothing but pixels to render — no fonts that might be missing, no interactive elements.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No — everything happens locally. Your PDF never leaves your device.
